1. Windows XP fix for Dual core AMD X2 CPU's - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
I'm not using my dual core sli system atm due to these "stutters". Benny hill effect I think I've heard it called. The system never runs slow, reporting a near 100fps on max settings. No amount of patching, hotfixes, setting cpu affinity, etc. has...

3. Bookmarks and Escrow - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
what's the deal with BMs? Im a noob, and can't figure out why everyone needs to copy Bookmarks. And now you say they're in escrow? I clearly don't understand something, but that makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever.

6. Camera position - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
I do agree, but seeing as how I'm constantly messing with the camera every second that I'm logged on, it's not too bad of an issue. I'm not downplaying you're complaint, but I think ccp would take the same view. With all the other issues needing a...

7. unreadable fonts on notebook - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
is it a graphical error? or are the fonts just too small/scrunched? you can enlarge the font size and change the width. I don't know if that's your problem or not, but hopefully it helps.

8. How to max out my GPU - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
I didn't mess with any video settings within eve other than the resolution. Do what Nabraxis said and you won't need to worry about x/z buffer/stencil, cause eve will indeed look like a movie :)

Edited by: Kuang Jao on 30/08/2006 22:18:05 were you between the station and your friend when you targeted him? And you probably didn't use the overview to target, did you? I've noticed that when you're near a large structure, even if the stru...

10. [PETITION] bring back the WARP sound - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
As far as simlulations go, warp space rumbles are realistic because there is atmosphere inside the ship that would convey sound waves. The wind tunnel now. thats a bit far fetched. I wouldn't mind the wind tunnel gone, and the warp accel/decel sou...

11. [PETITION] bring back the WARP sound - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Bring back warp sound with toggle! One of the first things (albeit a simple thing) that hooked me on EVE was the glorious rumble of my subs as I accelerated into warp. How dissapointed was I to see it silenced after the patch! This is as great an...
